In August
８月はお祭りなど行事も多く、旅行（里帰り）なさる方も多いことでしょう。
メンバーの皆さんのご都合によって、臨機応変に対応したいと思います。
Because August is a busy month with many festivals, events, and many people returning home/traveling during summer vacation,
we will work around everyone's schedules to figure out when to have the next class. Thank you.

Welcome to the Tokunoshima English Conversation Class Blog!
We have an English conversation class Tuesday evening from 18:00 until 19:30.
In the class we enjoy practising and speaking English with the island's ALTs.
Sometimes, we all go out for a meal together afterwards.
Please come and join us, it's a lot of fun.

Hello! My name is Dan Hallows and I'm Tokunoshima Town's Elementary and JHS school ALT.
I am from Manchester, England, but I do not like football (soccer)!
My hobbies are listening to music, playing the guitar and reading books (I like Sci-fi novels a lot).
I understand a little Japanese...It's difficult!
I look forward to meeting you at the English Conversation class.

こんにちは！ ダン・ハローズと申します。徳之島町の小中学校のALTです。
イギリスのマンチェスターから来ました、でもフットボール（サッカー）は好きじゃありません！
趣味は音楽を聞いたり、ギターを弾いたり、本を読んだりすることです。(空想科学小説が大好きです）。
私は日本語が少し分かりますが。。。難しいですよ！
みんなさんとの出会いを楽しみにしています。

Aloha! My name is Micah Mizukami. I'm Amagi Town's ALT. I'm from Kauai, Hawaii, and I came to Tokunoshima 2 years ago. I enjoy origami, baking, eisa, hiking, snorkeling/diving, running, and playing the piano. It's a pleasure to meet you.

アロハ！私はマイカ・ミズカミです。天城町のALTです。僕はハワイのカウアイ島出身で、２年前徳之島に来ました。趣味は折り紙と、お菓子作り、エイサー、ハイキング、シュノ―ケリング・ダイビング、ランニング、ピアノを弾くことです。どうぞよろしくお願いします。
